Our Journey

Sigma Group's evolution reflects a continuous effort to expand engineering capability and manufacturing scale in response to changing customer needs.

2003
Sigma FoundedSigma was established with a focus on advanced decorative and functional trim systems, supporting global automotive OEMs with high-quality, production-ready components.
2007
Sigma Luminous LaunchedSigma expanded into industrial lighting, developing and supplying advanced lighting solutions across commercial and industrial applications while building early expertise in lighting technologies and system integration.
2017
Sigma Manufacturing LaunchedAn injection molding operation was established in Eastpointe, Michigan to strengthen domestic manufacturing capability and support localized production requirements.
2018
Sigma Luminous SoldThe sale of Sigma Luminous marked an important step in Sigma's evolution, building on its experience in lighting technologies and system integration.
2019
CINOS Acquired and Renamed SigmaSigma acquired CINOS, a Korea-based business and a primary supplier of interior ambient lighting systems to Hyundai and Kia. Renamed Sigma, the business significantly expanded the company's capabilities in automotive lighting, strengthened relationships with global OEMs, and established a foundation for advanced lighting-enabled systems.
2022
Adam Electronics AcquiredSigma expanded into electronics manufacturing through the acquisition of Adam Electronics, adding capabilities in PCB assembly, lighting systems, and system integration.
2023
Manufacture and Design Electronics (MADE) AcquiredSigma further strengthened its engineering expertise and production capacity for complex electronic systems, enabling deeper participation in higher-value ODM and EMS programs.
2025
Electronics Division FormedAdam Electronics and MADE were unified under the Sigma brand, creating a dedicated electronics platform focused on ODM, EMS, PCB assembly, lighting systems, and integrated product execution.
2025
Former CINOS Business Sold to Hyundai CorporationSigma completed a strategic transaction involving the former CINOS business, selling a majority interest to Hyundai Corporation. The business was subsequently renamed LuciNova.

As products across automotive, industrial, and commercial markets have increasingly incorporated electronics, lighting, and intelligent features, Sigma has expanded deliberately to meet those requirements.

Today, Sigma Group operates as a unified engineering and manufacturing organization integrating advanced surface systems and electronics manufacturing to support customers across automotive, industrial, and commercial markets.
